Abstract

This project was focused on the development of capabilities for automated extraction of annotations from imagery. These capabilities enable Advanced Research and Negation, which is the ability to review images rapidly to determine when events occurred, or when objects or activities first appeared in collected imagery. This process allows the analyst to establish a timeline within collected image series, which is a necessary step in the production of effective intelligence products. Deliverable under this work program will include a software system which demonstrates automated annotation extraction from imagery based on ASU PRISM's further development work.
